More from October's last days

Lori, a friend from high school, and her roommate Mathias came up to visit! Had a great time introducing them to my home, the mountains, moose, glaciers, and what I know of Alaskana culture. Photos curtosy of Mathias and his handy digital camera. This was my first time out on Matanuska glacier -- haven't ever been on anything as beautiful or dangerous. Had to stay on the path lest we drop into a bottomless crevasse. Awe-inspiring to say the least.
